NOW HIRING: Part-Time Floor Manager

Toby’s Dinner Theatre is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Part-Time Floor Manager to help lead our front-of-house operations during evening and weekend performances. If you thrive in a fast-paced hospitality environment, love working with people, and enjoy the energy of live theatre, this could be the perfect role for you.

Position Overview

As a Floor Manager, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our guests have an exceptional dining and theatre experience from the moment they arrive to the final curtain call. You’ll oversee front-of-house and restaurant floor operations, support and supervise staff, and help keep service running smoothly during performances.

Responsibilities Include:

• Managing front-of-house and restaurant floor operations during service
• Supervising, supporting, and coordinating house staff and wait staff
• Ensuring smooth, efficient service and a high level of guest satisfaction
• Addressing guest needs and resolving issues professionally and promptly
• Reconciling nightly receipts and completing end-of-night floor closeout
• Maintaining a positive, team-oriented work environment

Schedule:

• Part-time position
• Evening and weekend availability required

• Previous experience in hospitality, restaurant, or house management required
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure
• A passion for hospitality, teamwork, and creating memorable guest experiences

TOBY’S DINNER THEATRE is accepting headshot/resume submissions for
SUMMER – THE DONNA SUMMER MUSICAL.
SUMMER – THE DONNA SUMMER MUSICAL: She was a girl from Boston with a voice from heaven, who shot through the stars from gospel choir to dance floor diva. What the world didn’t know was how Donna Summer risked it all to break through barriers, becoming the icon of an era and the inspiration for every music diva who followed!
Strong vocalists with appealing personas and good movement ability. The character of Donna Summer is portrayed by three different performers as the show takes us through her life story.

AT THIS TIME, WE ARE ONLY SEEKING THESE THREE SPECIFIC CHARACTERS:

DIVA DONNA/MARY GAINES – Female. Donna Summer in her 50s at the pinnacle of her career. She is warm and wise. She has lived a life and is our emcee for the evening. Also plays MARY GAINES, Donna’s mother.
DISCO DONNA – Female. Donna Summer in her late teens and 20s, riding the wave of her skyrocketing career from Boston to Germany, to the discotheques of Los Angeles and Manhattan. She is charismatic and strong as she navigates this world for the first time.
DUCKLING DONNA/MIMI SUDANO – Female. A young Donna Summer trying to find her voice amid a large Boston family. She has gumption and yet is also fragile. Also plays MIMI, Donna’s oldest daughter.

PERFORMANCE INFORMATION:

SUMMER, THE DONNA SUMMER MUSICAL runs 8/28/26 – 11/1/26
Toby’s Dinner Theatre performs an 8 show per week schedule
Tues. – Sat. evenings at 8pm, Sun. evening at 7pm and 12:30pm matinees on Wed. and Sun.

REHEARSAL INFORMATION:

Rehearsals are unpaid and begin apprx. June 20, 2026
Rehearsals are held each Saturday from 10am – 3pm., each Monday from 5pm – 10:30pm and occasional Tuesdays from 6pm – 10:30pm. Some daytime rehearsals WILL occur so also list daytime availability.

Seeking talent local to the DMV area as Toby’s does not provide housing or transportation.
