Students can experience the classic tale of Peter Rabbit brought to life. The always hungry Peter disobeys his mother’s rules and sneaks into Mr. McGregor’s irresistible garden. In this play, there’s an important lesson for Peter: Mr. McGregor worked hard on his garden and Peter ruined it. Peter learns the importance of saying “I’m sorry,” when you’ve made a bad decision. He goes home a changed bunny….but with a stomachache!
With themes of community, working together, and having empathy this show also connects nicely to lessons in: Caring About Myself & Others, How Things Change, Rhythm & Rhyme, Determination and Anti-Bullying.
